Fit guide

One size, dialed to your knee in under a minute

No charts, no guessing. Here is how to seat the pad and set the tension so it stays put all day.

Will it fit me?

The June Strap fits knees from about 12 to 18 inches around, measured just below the kneecap. That covers the large majority of adults. The pad is 17 cm by 5 cm; the strap tail adjusts continuously, so there are no fixed sizes to land between.

To check: wrap a tape measure snugly around the leg in the hollow directly under the kneecap. If you have no tape, a piece of string and a ruler works.

Fitting it

  1. Find the spot. Sit down and bend the knee a little. Press gently under the kneecap; the soft hollow you find is where the pad goes.
  2. Seat the pad. Rest the cushioned pad in that hollow, centered on the tendon. The metal D-ring sits to the outside of the leg so the tail is easy to reach.
  3. Set the tension. Pull the strap through the ring until it is snug, then press the tail down onto the hook-and-loop. Stand, take a few steps, and adjust once if it feels loose.

Too tight, too loose, just right

Too tight

Pins and needles in the foot, or pale skin under the strap. Loosen a notch straight away.

Too loose

The pad drifts down the shin after a few steps. Reseat it and take up one more notch.

Just right

Snug, steady on the stairs, and after ten minutes you have forgotten it is on.

Over or under clothes?

Under is best: on skin or over a thin sock-like layer. Over thin leggings works. Over jeans or thick trousers the pad cannot press evenly, so slip it underneath.

Left or right knee?

Either. There is no left or right version. Flip it so the D-ring sits to the outside of whichever leg you are wearing it on.

Wearing it on both knees? The 2-pack is $53.99, the 3-pack $71.98.
